In one of the drawers you’ll also find stationary, postcards, a pen, and room service menus. The room service menu is hidden rather well inside the large Disney Cruise Line book. Each room contains one queen bed (or two twin beds), a single convertible sofa, and a split-bathroom design. If you have a larger budget and prioritize that extra level of elevated service, concierge is a fun splurge. In all but the smallest staterooms (category 11), Disney Cruise Line has split bathrooms. Verandah (Balcony) Staterooms
Your stateroom safe is located inside one of the closets. This is a great place to keep your passport, extra cash or credit cards, and any other valuables. Every Disney Cruise Line stateroom is equipped with a hair dryer, but don’t look for it in the bathroom. Hairdryers are stored in a black fabric bag in your stateroom desk. Your bathroom will be equipped with body lotion, bars of hand soap, liquid body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.

As you can see below you can save $700 if you book a Guaranteed Verandah Stateroom. What is probably happening here is that the Deluxe Guaranteed Staterooms are in a better position on the ship. The ones where you can pick your stateroom are most probably on Deck 1. The difference between the Deluxe Inside Stateroom and the Deluxe Guaranteed is a bit unusual. If you look a little deeper and see how much the individual Categories of stateroom are, then you can see that both Guaranteed and pick your own stateroom choices are available.
With little kids a tub is kind of a must so it’s nice Disney thought of it all. Naturally they aren’t as big as your tub at home but they should do the trick for your kiddos. Whatever your budget and taste, Disney Cruise Line has accommodations for every traveller.
If your group has more than 4 guests, you'll have a couple of different options for staterooms. If there are multiple sub-categories available within a category - such as 9A, 9B, 9C, 9D - then “A” will be the most expensive and most desirable and “D” the least expensive. Of course, “most desirable” is completely subjective so take it with a grain of salt and the price difference between the subcategories is fairly minimal.
Not unless you realize that the staterooms in your group could be very far apart from each other. You may book a Guaranteed Standard Inside Stateroom and get an upgrade to a Deluxe. Or even if you are very lucky an upgrade to an Outside Stateroom (although this is rare). Most times you will know at least a day before and often a week or two in advance of your sailing.
